Build to suit
Building on your land: where to begin
The questions to ask about your lot before choosing a home.

Start with the property
Before committing to a floor plan, confirm what your property allows. Zoning, setbacks, access, utility connections, and community restrictions can affect where and how a home can be placed. Review requirements with your local permitting authority and project team.
Look beyond the home price
Ask for a project estimate that separates the home from site preparation, utility work, permits, delivery, installation, and other required work. A lot with existing services may have very different needs from undeveloped land.
Choose a plan that fits
Bring your lot information, preferred number of bedrooms, and budget to your consultation. Ask which floor plans suit the site and what options are available. Confirm scope and timing in writing before making a commitment.
